Amorphous alloy tridimensional toroidal core transformer is a key power transmission and distribution equipment integrating energy-saving and environmental protection characteristics. Its key component, the iron core, is made of a new type of energy-saving material—amorphous alloy strip, and integrally wound into a three-phase tridimensional toroidal core structure.
It boasts seven major advantages including energy saving, material saving, low noise, symmetrical three-phase magnetic circuit, high production efficiency, maintenance-free operation and strong short-circuit resistance. Compared with conventional transformer products, its no-load energy consumption is reduced by 70% to 80%.

The new amorphous alloy material exhibits excellent magnetic conductivity. However, this raw material has the characteristics of high hardness, brittleness and thin thickness (approximately 25μm), making it prone to fragmentation and breakage. There were no domestic or international references for production equipment and processes due to the extremely high production difficulty.
Through independent research and development of curved shearing, strip winding equipment, and key production processes including cutting, slitting, winding, foil winding and annealing, Gaojing Comany has successfully solved the above problems. It took the lead in achieving an innovative breakthrough from the traditional planar toroidal core structure to the tridimensional toroidal core structure, realizing the capacity for mass production. Currently, this product has maintained a leading market share in the national segment market and has also received widespread praise in the international market.
